Jennifer Lopez, born 1969 from a Puerto Rican background family. Lopez was taught dance throughout her childhood. She made a debut in film with the small part of My Little Girl. In 1991 she got her big break as actress in the television show In Living Color. Lopez became the star of the cop procedural Shades of Blue (2016), portraying an ambivalent officer. She played a comic character on Second Act, a comedy that follows a woman given a job offer in a Manhattan law firm by her colleagues after they embellished their resume. Lopez later joined an all-female ensemble in Hustlers (2019) which is a film about strippers that conspire against their wealthy customers. In 2022, Lopez played an engaged woman in two romantic comedy films. In the movie Marry Me, an aspiring pop singer, upon discovering that she's been cheated upon by her husband, decides to marry a mathematician who was in her concert. Shotgun Wedding is an action-packed film that follows a wedding which fails when guests are held as hostages. The bride and groom are forced to save the hostages.
