Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Reykjavik, Iceland. The owner is of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it also. Annie is the first woman to win at the CrossFit Games twice. In both the year 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion as well as a media star. The popular athlete is the first woman to win the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. Also, she is known for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie was born and brought up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and siblings. Annie was an avid sportsperson and worked out from the age of five. In 2009, she competed in CrossFit competitions held in California. Her first results were good. Annie Thorisdottir will be 31 in 2021. Her height stands at 5'7" and her weight is approximately 67kg. Annie began CrossFit when she was in California. In the initial games she performed very well and finished in the top 10 among 70. The team did not get any results from the event and finished the tournament with a score of eleven. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. under the direction of Jami Tikkanen, Annie finished 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded an award of Silver that year. The following year, she again participated in the CrossFit games and because of her outstanding performance she was able to win the competition becoming the first female to win CrossFit Games. In 2012 Annie also won her first CrossFit Games because of her outstanding performance. In addition, she became the first woman athlete who won twice in CrossFit Games consecutively. Additionally, in 2014, she was awarded a silver medal as well as in 2021, she was awarded a bronze medal in CrossFit Games. Presently Annie is a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. As she has gained more recognition as an athlete, Annie is a model of various sports brands including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Nuun Hydration-Periodization Sidekick, Yerbae and many others. There are a few thousand subscribers to her self-titled Youtube channel where videos of training, travel vlogs and family videos are posted.
