Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 of 1970) is an American actress who is best known for portraying detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter as well on NBC's Providence drama, and the medicine drama The Resident. She was also recognized for her TV debut as Eleni Andros cooper on the soap opera of CBS Guiding Light. 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians The Lightning Thief and Snitch are some of her most acclaimed film role. The actress is currently developing a movie adaptation of Elisabeth KublerRoss's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides, the pair that wrote the film Immortals. She also films for a new television show known as Gods & Heroes.
